Who we are
Depth over breadth.
Most travel groups consolidate their brands into one. We did the opposite. Each of the five keeps its own team, its own customers and its own phone number.
The consultant who knows which hotel in Hannover is genuinely within walking distance of the fairground is not the same person who plans a three-week route through Peru. Both work here. Neither pretends to do the other’s job.

Travel for people who would rather move than lie down
Ski marathons, cycling camps, training weeks and spectator trips to major championships. Running since 1996.

Flights, hotels, fair passes and transfers for 41 international trade fairs across eight countries, with an optional Norwegian-speaking group leader.

Hotels, ground operators, cruise lines, convention bureaus and destination management companies all reach the same head office. Having five brands means one conversation can open several programmes at once.

- What is Balslev?
- Balslev is a family-owned Norwegian travel group based at Rosenholmveien 25 in Trollåsen, just south of Oslo. It operates five specialist brands and has been organising group travel since 1982. The legal entity is Expert Reiser AS, company registration number 935 566 843.
- Who owns Balslev?
- The company is owned and run by the Balslev family, now in its third generation. Kim Balslev is managing director and chair of the board. Ownership has never left the family.
- Which brands does the group operate?
- Nordmannsreiser (tailor-made holidays and cruising), Expert Reiser (corporate travel, incentives and events), Temareiser Fredrikstad (cultural and historical journeys), Maxpulse (active and sports travel) and Messereiser (international trade fairs).
- Does Balslev handle inbound travel to Norway?
- The group's core business is outbound travel for Norwegian clients. For inbound enquiries, partnership proposals or supplier presentations, contact the head office at post@balslev.no or +47 23 19 44 00.
- Is my money protected if I book through Balslev?
- Yes. The brands hold statutory travel guarantees with the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund, package holidays are covered by the Norwegian Package Travel Act, and the group is IATA accredited.
